TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with the annual TED Conference in Long Beach, California, and the TEDGlobal conference in Oxford UK, TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Program, the new TEDx community program, this year's TEDIndia Conference and the annual TED Prize.

What is EAPN? Since 1990, the European Anti Poverty Network (EAPN) has been an independent network of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and groups involved in the fight against poverty and social exclusion in the Member States of the European Union.

The European Network of Health Care Chaplaincy was founded at the Sixth Consultation for Hospital Chaplaincy meeting at the Orthodox Academy of Crete in November 2000. Those present, representing churches and associations throughout Europe, declared: The European Network of Health Care Chaplaincy consists of representatives from Churches, Faiths and National Associations. It is rooted in Christianity, as expressed in European Cultures. Its purpose is to enable its participants, who serve in the area of the multi-disciplinary field of healthcare: to share and learn from one another to work for the development of professional guidelines required to minister to the existential and spiritual needs of patients, relatives and staff, drawing on personal, religious, cultural and community resources. to promote a high quality standard of Health Care Chaplaincy in Europe.

WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends. In the 21st century, health is a shared responsibility, involving equitable access to essential care and collective defence against transnational threats.

We commit ourselves to a shared life in Christ and to an ecumenical global sharing of resources and prophetic vision of a just and peaceful world order, joining with God’s concern for the poor and oppressed. This commitment will be reflected in common decision-making for mission program which will visibly witness to the oneness of mission in and through the Church of Jesus Christ.
